Pulverfass Vulkaneifel

Our film portrays the unique landscapes of the Volcanic Eifel, a 30 km wide and 50 km long area stretching from the Rhine to Wittlich. Whether it's the Volcano Eifel Railway, the German Volcano Road, the hiking trails of the UNESCO Geo-Park between Daun and Maria Laach - the Eifel still thrives on its fiery past. But what traces has volcanism left behind? Whether the Hohe Acht as the highest volcano in the Eifel, the maars, moors and bubbling mineral water springs and geysers - they are the attractions of the region. But there are also regions that you can hardly see their volcanic past anymore.
