For many, it will probably be a summer within Germany – and a chance to discover something new right on their doorstep. The documentary “The Legendary Land – A Summer Journey through the Southwest” shows surprising perspectives on enchanting landscapes in the Southwest, which are linked to old sagas and legends, told by local people who live a close relationship with nature. Part one visits a shepherdess on the Swabian Alb and a pair of winegrowers on the Moselle bend. In part two, an athlete climbs the gigantic Rotenfels on the Nahe River and we head to the Kinzig River in Schiltach, where after a 100-year break Black Forest raftsmen are once again transporting fir wood to the Rhine in the old tradition.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
