Two single parents meet in an Internet chat room and soon decide to move in together. They don’t have a whole lot in common, but the very fact that they are so different gives the relationship its liberated, “adult“ quality. Until their two teenage children fall in love with each other and the force of unfettered, uncompromising first love rocks the boat of the parent’s cozy little arrangement. Ironically, it is the break-up of the young people’s relationship that opens the way for the grown-ups to try again.
