The seafarers romance drowned in the deep sea years ago. Cargo times, sometimes less than six hours, are preventing any possibility to go ashore in the harbours. Wages are low, the life on board monotonous. Some of the burmese crew members have to stay 14 months on board. When they get home, their children don´t even recognize the father anymore. Shipping reflects in bitter irony the cut of rights to the normal employee as a result of globalisation of world economy. The seafare gives his life to the benefit of the international shareholder.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator align=”align_left” el_width=”90″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”163,162,161″][/vc_column][vc_column css_animation=”none” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
